Like Yourself As You Succeed

How are you currently feeling about the year ahead?

Are you fired up and already well on your way to knocking it out of the park – making this year your most successful year yet?

Have you chosen to focus on maintaining your sanity while achieving incremental progress on your road to success?

Maybe this is the year you’ve committed to figuring out what you want to do with the rest of your life?

There’s no shortage of wisdom out there – highly researched and practiced by the most “successful” people - to help you craft a plan for the type of year you might be hoping to experience.

You can learn to set goals, establish habits, develop efficiencies, and improve relationships.

You can get smarter, get fitter, lead more effectively, and improve your quality of sleep.

You can adopt countless strategies for succeeding and emulate only the best.

But it is my hope, as you go after it, that you always do you.

It feels important to remember that there are as many ways to live a “successful” life as there are people who want one. Our definitions and approaches will vary. Our measurements and timelines will, too.

Real success is the ability to like who we are being as we strive to “arrive”, and knowing that our definition of success should be as unique as we are.

“Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.” Maya Angelou

If we remember this as we’re striving, it will be a good year.

Love,

Molly
